Founded by Lizy Lemwi, Mother African Cuisine brings the flavors and warmth of Africa to the heart of Los Angeles. Since opening its doors in 2005, the restaurant has been a space where tradition meets taste, offering authentic African dishes made with love, heritage, and heart.
What makes us different isn’t just what’s on the plate but the story behind it. We use fresh, locally sourced ingredients combined with time-honored African recipes passed down through generations. Our space is more than a restaurant; it’s a celebration of African culture, food, and community.
